🎮 Just playing the games. 🕹
An awesome entry in the series that does not disappoint. It plays like OG Contra and has some serious challenge right from the get go. Boss designs are large and make good use of the dual screen, which in turn, make for epic fights. The soundtrack is high energy and compliments the action.

A dope fan translation and great addition to the series on GBA. It plays just like the other two games, has a good amount of challenge, interesting characters and good writing. The story is interesting and moves at a decent pace. Fans of the series should check it out. #fireemblemthebindingblade

A traditional JRPG with a focus on monster recruiting. Each monster recruited joins the party and fusions can also be done to create stronger ones. Admittedly, this aspect of the game is what ultimately made me leave it. It felt like Iike a chore and just not that fun.

A 2D platformer that plays similarly to other Disney games on SNES or Genesis. It's a very short game, at about 40 minutes long and it's not a very difficult one either. Gameplay is pretty straightforward and visuals are good. Worth a look.

This vertical shoot em'up is an absolute blast. The action is fast paced and there's a heavy focus on high scores. It's one of those games were you wanna go "one more time" to see if you can snag the top score. Visuals are good and controls feel tight. Definitely worth a look.

A dope 2D fighter that's still very enjoyable today. The visuals are great, with bright and colorful backgrounds. Character roster is small but designs look awesome and general gameplay is good, albeit a bit unbalanced. All in all, it's one that's worth visiting now and again.

A classic fighting game that's not perfect, however still playable. It has a cool variety of characters, stages are detailed and vibrant. The gameplay is pretty jank, but doesn't hinder the experience. Soundtrack is generic, though fits the game fine. Fans of the genre might enjoy.

This is dope vertical shoot em'up with high paced action. Power ups are plentiful and there's a nice variety of them. Visually, it's great and the soundtrack ain't bad. It's a short game at 7 stages long, so it doesn't take too much of your time. Definitely a game worth checking out.

This is a bare bones racing game that doesn't offer much in terms of replayability. Track designs are kinda unique, letting you drive in places you wouldn't normally be in. There aren't any licensed cars and races are just time attacks against a single player. I'd pass on this one.

This is an absolutely awesome horizontal shooter. Everything from presentation, gameplay and soundtrack are all top notch. It offers a nice assortment of power ups, which are key against some bosses and the overall challenge feels just right. A definite must play.

This action platformer has some nice, colorful visuals and some ok tunes. However, I couldn't get into this one. The character movement feels stiff and if not enough momentum is built, platforming can be a pain. Otherwise, it's an ok game, might be worth a look.

This is awesome vertical shooter with a good level of challenge. The action feels like it runs at a high pace and stages become more difficult as you progress. Soundtrack is great and compliments the game. Visually, it's fine and general gameplay is solid. Worth a look.

This is a fun platformer similar to the likes of Bubble Bobble and Snow Bros. Although I do prefer the arcade version, the PC Engine port isn't bad at all. It offers a great deal of challenge, solid gameplay, unique character designs, great visuals and music. Definitely worth a play.

This is a fantastic RPG that strikes all the right chords in terms of gameplay and presentation. It has a wonderful soundtrack and the water color, storybook style visuals are stunning. It has a unique battle system that keeps each encounter from feeling stale or dull. A must play.

This is a really cool version of Ys I and II. The visual upgrade it got looks great and the different variations of the soundtrack are awesome. The action is solid, although I'm not a huge fan of the "bump" mechanic. The story, which follows Ys Origins is intriguing. Worth a look.

Another excellent addition to the series. There are some character designs that aren't very appealing but overall, it isn't a huge deal. The gameplay is great, it has new features that give the game a fresh feel. Some characters are unlocked using in-game currency, which is cool.

Right out the gate, this is a really good action game that offers way more than you expect. The skirmishes feel smooth and satisfying. The voice acting is fantastic and the music compliments the enviorment perfectly. This is a must play in my books. #alicemadnessreturns

This horror game has good things going for it in terms of gameplay but gets dragged down a bit by the visuals and sound design. The story is pretty cool, you experience it through both agent's perspectives and it's not that long either. Fans of the genre should check it out.

This horror game, I ditched shortly after starting it. Immediately the bad voice acting and mid character designs were a turn off. Gameplay felt slow and janky. Combat felt like an absolute train wreck, no cross hairs or indication of where one was impacting the enemy. This is a hard pass.

This psychological horror game is a real trip. They're are handful of jump scares that are done effectively but the real highlight is the use of the enviorment and ambient soundtrack. It rattles nerves and makes you dread having to open the next door. Definitely worth a look.

As a fan of the film, this felt fun to play but it was definitely not was I was expecting. The majority of the game consists of mini-games and as you complete them, you progress the story, which is basically the same as the movie. It's a ridiculously easy playthrough. Fans might like.

A cool platformer that's full of action and challenge. Visually, it looks awesome, character sprites are large and detailed. Gameplay is fun and intense, the boss battles are challenging but can be beat easily when patterns are learned. Overall, it's a great time, worth a look.

An interesting action platformer, that in the end, wasn't for me. It's a non-linear game with many branching paths to follow. It can feel overwhelming, having so many stages to navigate through but they're short stages. Overall, although interesting, the gameplay was too dull IMO.

An awesome racing game on the handheld. It's visuals are really nice and the 3D effects are pretty neat. The music consists of high energy tracks which fit the action well. The gameplay is where it shines, drifting feels smooth and the controls are responsive. A must play. #ridgeracer3d

Another fun Kirby title that doesn't disappoint. The visuals are perhaps my personal highlight. Character animations are clean and designs are nice. The music is delightful as usual and includes some of the iconic tracks. All in all, it's a fun game to playthrough, worth a look.
