This was superb, I absolutely loved it. The music was great; I actually cried during one song. The multiple 1 star (individual not critic) reviews are bewildering. What do you mean there's no story? Too much conflict? It would have been better if it was more like Once?! The girls are fiiighting ffs

I know I've talked to death about this before but everything about this is so bizarre. 7 years development! Why is this someone dev's "passion project"?! And of course now it's finally here in actual existence the celebrity guests are exclusively ones no-one has ever written a single fic about ever

Back in 2022, Channel 4 proudly announced a 'groundbreaking' new comedy-entertainment show provisionally titled 'The Really Rude Puppet Show', in which celebrities read out erotic fan-fiction.
Celebrities had to imagine themselves as the smut’s protagonist, while a pair of puppets enacted the steamy shenanigans, right in front of them. Martin Kemp, Kerry Katona, Coleen Nolan, Melvin Odoom and Sam Thompson were all slated to star.
Since then, the show has never been mentioned again by C4, let alone broadcast. It might be for any of the following reasons: one of the celebrities walking out of filming because they were so disturbed by what they were reading; unbearable filming conditions during the hottest part of the year (it was filmed in a domestic house rather than a proper studio, at the producer's behest); or the fact that only four of the six episodes were completed.
