Eoin got me into the Venture Bros about a year ago and it’s genuinely become one of my favourite shows in existence, it’s so witty, regularly makes me laugh out loud and has some of the best character writing and design I’ve ever seen in adult cartoons.
Three animated characters are shown in drawing form. The first is a large, hulking man with a blond buzz cut, wearing a navy turtleneck, matching pants and large grey combat boots. He also has double shoulder holsters for his guns, plus a knife in one boot. The second character wears the same outfit and weapons except he has shorts instead of pants and a matching navy hat. His design is based on Hunter S. Thompson, the writer. He wears sunglasses and has a 12 o’clock shadow and a cigarette on a holder protruding from his mouth. The third character is a tall, slender woman with dark red hair, tied in a ponytail. She wears black mini shorts with a matching top that has a large heart cut out in the centre, showing her cleavage. She also wears red calve high boots, star shaped earrings, red bracelets on both writes and her own shoulder holster for her gun.
