A more interesting argument, which would help you see the value in Green’s thesis, including for poverty in low and middle income countries, is that poverty should be redefined and measured from a Marxist, i.e. relational, perspective.

Fully agree with that. I would argue however that it’s important not to spread simplistic and misleading (and in any case loose) narratives on the relationship between globalization and development. That was my only point. Your critical
point re: the book is valid and important.
