At least it doesn't crash on half of the commercials it tries to play, like Paramount+. Being slightly better than Paramount, though, isn't a ringing endorsement.

Yeah, that's extremely annoying and sketchy.

It also goes straight into whatever someone was watching last on initial launch, and when you try to back out, it jumps all the way back to the user profile page. UI design isn't exactly HBO's long suit here.

Same as toffee bits. Google should work for this.

Also the fact that they’re all so busy creating their own very weird argot in order to delineate their group is sort of interesting. We seem not far from the point where communication just isn’t possible. Not that I want to, but it still can’t be a long term good.

Also zero days since Gillibrand took an embarrassing and unproductive position. A real list of winners we got there.

Maybe more accurately: that’s the message that wins the arguments and they choose to adopt. At least in theory, they could do more analysis but generally don’t.

In any event, I wasn’t arguing that withholding was productive. Only that I completely understand the frustration that arrives there.

The underlying thought process is that they’ll lose so badly that they’ll be forced to rethink what they’re doing and maybe actually support their base rather than just trying to be “good Republicans.” It’s a nihilist approach, but I can see how you get there when things are bad.

I’ve voted for every crappy Democrat since Fritz Mondale, so I get what she’s saying. Being forced to vote for a candidate who is opposed to the things you want is not great. But I do agree with you that merely withholding that vote doesn’t work either.

That’s a really solid list.

Actual hand for comparison. I’m a giant in this world.

The site goes offline periodically like that. In the past I have had good luck with the contact link. But that was pre-shutdown.
