If you think the Epstein files will bring down Donald like the truth did to Judge Moore who lost the Senate seat in Alabama to Doug Jones because he was accused of molesting children, you don’t know how tied to the “Teflon Don” the GOP and MAGA is and nothing sticks.

When watching the Netflix series, “Ozark,” I saw how organized crime used the building business and gambling casinos to launder money. I wonder if the series was inspired by The Donald, and now that he is president, we have a government by the mob doing illegal things and getting away with it?

When working for his father and Donald came in the business, he was supposed to learn the nuts and bolts of construction and chose to hang his hat on expediency; the sooner the building is finished the rents come in. Protecting the environment doesn’t make him richer but drilling does.

You may be right about Fred Trump outside of his business dealings but as a subcontractor, I alway got a good price for my work and always got paid. I never could stand Donald and took pleasure in Fred putting him in his place every time I complained to him about his son’s ridiculous behavior.

Fred Trump told his subcontractors that Donald was a bully who not only beat kids up but tortured them; he had no choice but to send him to military school and that made a man out of him, and once he learns the business, we could work with him. Fred was wrong as once a sadist alway a sadist.

Born in 1932 when Hoover was president and hope to be around when we get a modern day FDR! I stopped working for Fred Trump when Donald came in the business so the less I see him, the better I feel.

I lived through the Great Depression and my parents never looked at FDR as a socialist but more like a savior who used the government to have programs to turn things around. FDR was more of a pragmatist who believed government and capitalism can work together for the good of the country.

Trump’s endorsement is the kiss of death for Cuomo. As the country moves to the Right and people are hurting, the Left gains power. The best of times was when the center of both parties ruled. “Where have you gone John McCain and Bill Clinton, a national turns it’s lonely eyes to you?”

Donald wasn’t very happy when working for his father and had to do business the straight and narrow way and then he met Roy Cohn who had the the schemes and represented the mob. Cohn taught Donald the ropes and he ventured out to start his own crime family where his territory became the entire USA.

Teddy Roosevelt took over when President McKinley died so he could have argued he didn’t serve 8 years but two terms is specific in the 22nd Amendment not years. Donald could argue that he did not serve two consecutive terms and his agenda was interrupted but the amendment still says two terms!

This fact does not change anything and most of those who supported Trump and his fellow Republicans will continue to do so even if their healthcare is cut; it is not even any of the other economic issues that will make the difference unless the Trump recession turns into another Great Depression.

Donald has not changed since I worked for his father and he came in the business when he demanded that we follow his dictates even if it was against his father’s wishes and not in our contracts; since it was his way or the highway, we took the highway as he slowly was taking over the business.

When I saw that picture of Donald and Epstein looking over the girls at a party, I thought that Donald was discussing which one of the girls that he would choose to sleep with that night. When Donald came to work for his father, he liked being a playboy with a reputation of seducing women.

Is Rosario not playing because he is not as good of a fielder at 3rd as McMahon or because he doesn’t do as well against RHP like him?
August 25, 2025 at 9:27 PM
I think Rosario should play 3rd as the Yanks need as much offense as they can and he makes better contact than McMahon.

Donald grew up in Jamaica Estates with privilege as he was a a sadistic bully who tortured and beat up kids and was protected from punishment by his rich father; his father’s finally exiled him to military school where he learned to be less physical and still hurt people in their pocket books.

The young Donald was on a job that I was on and heard the workers whistling at a young lady; he ran after her and got her number and returning to the job, he gave a thumbs up to the workers. He had to show off that he was a ladies man and Maxwell brought him the young girls to help him prove it.

I grew up in the Great Depression and saw how people tried to help each other and the Democrats were trying to do everything they could to lift us up; the Republicans got us into that mess and couldn’t do anything to alleviate the pain, and the Trump GOP’s policies are far worse than ever before.

During the Great Depression, there were these lyrics to a song, “There is nothing surer, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!” The people suffered and voted out the GOP but let them back 16 years later and they took back Congress. Since many don’t learn from history, it will happen again.

When I worked for Fred Trump and Donald came in the business, he would want something done by the subcontractors that was not in the contract; we went to Fred and Donald would be shut down and he resented us for that. Would these leaks to Congress be enough to stop him?

After the Great Depression, we passed SS and after the Trump depression, we may look like Sweden!

There were Republicans who tried to make “trickle down” work, like Jack Kemp, with laws that if you reinvest your profits into the economy especially in the poorer areas, you get big tax breaks. Will those Republicans ever come back?
May 6, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Donald was the same way as a young man coming into his father’s business as most of us, subcontractors, had high praise for his father and felt that Donald had no patience to learn the nuts and bolts of construction business; lacking any praise, Donald became hostile to us and was hard to deal with.

This is his “The Art of the Deal” where Donald asks for the stars and may not get the moon or even the earth but thinks that he is holding all the cards. It may have worked in his business but “Donald, Your not in Kansas anymore!”
