My PC was trash for so many years that even now I still forget that I can actually play new games now.

So I tried the Pragmata demo. Not bad.

The game ran at around 100 fps at high settings and FSR 4 Quality. I guess the RE Engine still runs fine when it's used in the kind of game it was made for.

If you still haven't played SOMA then you should get it now while it's super cheap. It's a really good game.

I'm not going to lie, I really don't like how Krem looks in the Supergirl movie. I hope that at least he's well written so maybe I won't care too much about that. But first impressions... oh god why?

Astlibra, both the base game and expansion. 2D sidescroller action rpg (not metroidvania).

Developed mostly by one guy for 14 years. He had help improving sprites during the last year, including from a Vanillaware guy and you can really tell.

Good story, it goes in some unexpected directions.

53GB?? How? Why? The original game without dlc could fit in a single dvd. How the fuck did they manage to increase the file size to something like The Witcher 3?

If this is real then it looks they redesigned Supergirl's outfit after the Superman movie and now it's very similar to how it looks in Woman of Tomorrow.

It's a weird feeling, seeing how they might actually be trying to make it as faithful as possible to the source material. I need a trailer soon.

I know, scores don't matter but... something must be really wrong with this game if this is how things are now.

Somehow Nvidia might have found a way to make things even worse for everybody.

I wonder if Sweeney will be able to resist the urge to respond or if he'll dig a deeper grave saying something embarrassing like he always does.

Another trash take from Tim Sweeney.

Come on Valve, it's time to finally do what you have to do with the Linux version of Steam.

I think the part of Proton that kept Steam anchored to 32bit libraries on Linux is already 64bit in the current version of Wine so the next major release of Proton should enable it by default.

I was going to reply to a post I saw that was written in English and this happened. I didn't know that this was a thing.
November 22, 2025 at 7:26 AM
Valve doesn't need to fix anything. Many anti-cheats work but the developers just don't want to enable it on Linux and their justification is always nonsense.

And kernel anti-cheat just shouldn't exist and should be illegal because it's just malware.

Oh.

They're not just pretending for ther investors, they're actually stupid.

Unimpressed isn't even close to the word that would describe people's feelings about AI.

It's happening again.

It really happened, he really used ChatGPT for something like this.

And the worst part is that this is probably not the only CEO doing something so stupid.
November 19, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Well I guess this explains a lot about this company. It's run by literally the dumbest motherfucker that ever lived.

Apparently this is happening... Good Linus meets Bad Linus. I don't know why and I'm not sure I want to know.

According to Steam most people still have 1080p screens, less than 20% uses 1440p, and only a minority own a 4K screen. So I guess Valve knows what they're doing with the Steam Machine specs because you don't really need a high end monster of a PC to play at 1080p with semi-decent settings.
November 15, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Please tell me that this is a joke. It can't be real, I refuse to believe they did this.
November 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
I'll never understand the "Valve does nothing and wins" meme.

They didn't release Half-Life 3 but they released other games.

Steam gets new features constantly.

And they've been working non stop on Linux since Windows 8.

People weren't paying attention because they thought it didn't affect them.
