Happy weekend! It’s a tad on the rainy side this morning, but the remainder of the weekend promises blue skies and sunshine. Why not pull on your woolly hat, pack your binoculars and go outdoors to watch some wildlife 🔎

Let us know what you spot 👇🏽

Our #SevernTreescapes team works with land managers to plant trees in places that are right for their land. This #NationalTreeWeek, see how one farmer is adding lines of trees to shelter crops from the wind & creating ponds to hold water 🌳

Brrrrr but beautiful ❄️🩵

Are you appreciating the beauty that our cold mornings are bringing 😍

A big thank you to our #volunteers for a great coppicing job alongside one of the paths at #Monkwood, letting in the light to the woodland floor 🌱🌼🌸🐝🦋🐛

The hazel that was cut will be used by our #WilderWorcestershire team for a project they're doing in a community garden 💚

Have you spotted a blackcap recently? 👀

It's not that long ago that they were only summer visitors to the UK but they moved on as summer ended; if you spot one now, it'll be one that has spent the summer in France, Spain, Germany or Poland before coming over to spend the winter with us 🐦💚

Yes, there are two snipe that are well hidden amongst the vegetation 😍

For #NationalTreeWeek we're celebrating how trees can help boost both a productive landscape as well as biodiversity.

You can see below how one farmer, working with our #SevernTreescapes team, is transforming his land 🌳💚

Many thanks to National Trust's The Weir Garden & other properties who hosted our #SevernTreescapes team to nosey around their wood pasture, woodland & orchards – we spotted wonderful trees, fairy fingers fungi & a beautiful (& rare) jennet pear tree 🌳💚

Yes, there's a sleeping fox in the top/middle of the photo - Beth zoomed in the camera as much as she could from the path and then crept away, leaving it snoozing away 🦊😴

Yaaawwwwnnnn 😴

For today's #MysteryMonday what did our colleague Beth capture snoozing the day away when out on a nature reserve recently? 🤔

3 cheers for amazing people in local communities 🥳

Our #WilderWorcestershire team joined Charlie Willis of @wychavon.bsky.social & local residents to plant 5000+ spring bulbs in their neighbouring woodland area in #Droitwich 🌺🌸🌼🌻

An extra cheer for the sunshine, which helped keep everyone smiling🌞

Yay for Norton-juxta-Kempsey PC who've worked with our #NaturalNetworks team to do great things for wildlife 👏
-sown wildflower seeds
-planted 100s of bulbs in the woodland where they've thinned trees to allow light in
-created log piles & bee posts from felled trees
-installed bird & bat boxes

Shades on 😎

Whilst some spindle trees showed off their colours early this year, our colleague Becca spotted one recently that was truly making a statement 🩷🧡
