That's a real pic of my stupid cat. I have another cat but he doesn't make stupid faces worthy of a profile pic.
Thanksgiving dishes and some decor is already away. Christmas and holiday mugs are ready for morning coffee. Wife wastes no time with the turnover.

The finger sensor in the back was the best. The biggest part of my pixel 8 that I don't like is the optical fingerprint in the screen

Really leaning into the gen x and stranger things nostalgia, e.g. Pac man float, Jewel performing. It doesn't seem meant to gain new generations of watchers.

Ah, I didn't know that. We were there just to grab a coffee to go but didn't even really look at the food. I'm in Connecticut so definitely going to be back up there. Thank you so much for those recommendations!

Gah! I was just in Northampton on Saturday. Wish I knew about that pie place, looks yum! Love a savory pie.

You didn't look at the whole picture then. Because at the top it says it's inflation adjusted for q1 2025

When adjusted for inflation, it cost a heck of a lot less in 1968 than it does now to purchase an equivalent sized home.

Those are different scales because the dollar is not pegged to gold anymore. It's similar to saying I could buy a house for 20 shares of Google in 2010 ($10/ea) but now I can buy a house with five shares of Google ($500/ea) The price fluctuates differently than inflation.

New York Times opinion page:

First you weren't allowed to say Merry Christmas. Then you're not allowed to rape children anymore in NYC because of the new Hamas mayor. If this continues I may have to move to Florida where the sun is shining, taxes are low, and an unregulated sexual freedom exists.

Simple follow-up questions to that "best result he's ever seen" quote:
"Does that imply that you were in worse shape at your last physical? Do you have any undisclosed condition or illness? Is this related to the makeup concealing something on your hand?"

Wait. But is the VP saying housing is a human right?
That should be big news on its own.
