yeah i think the process would take a lot of getting used to. but i knew rat owners who did it themselves. i think you'd need a vet to teach you the right technique

syrian hamsters are great! are the tooth trims pretty straightforward? when i had pet rats i heard of trimming teeth with fingernail clippers (never had to do it thankfully)
