I haven't had a long history with that series (Axol is what got me into the series in the first place) but it became part of myself so to see it end is like saying farewell to a friend you bunked with in collage.

SMG4 isn't ending in the traditional sense.
Sure, Luke may not be making official episodes but fans have the tools to pick up where he left off from.
There's already plenty of SMG4 fan series out there for you to enjoy and I can already tell that number is going to increase after the movie comes out

The world building, characters and horror is so good.
The gore was there but it was used for storytelling purposes and not just gore for gore's sake.
