Some people who weren't even Latinos participated and no one told them anything bad, because they took the time to learn about the culture they were representing

A lot of Jayvik art/fanfiction is in English already so this was a way to uplift works that weren't in that language

I mean a lot of people offered to help translate fanfics ..no one said they couldn't participate, the idea of the event was to connect with our roots so of course it should be in Spanish/Portuguese/even French
