I recall some social media,tabloid nonsense about this phenomenon a few years ago. My last few rambles have been on moorland around 900m. This jelly like substance has popped up here and there. A water sodden dead puff ball appears to be the most plausible . #fungi #mushrooms #hiking #nature

I have a similar though less preserved grave 10minutes from my home. The small circular stones are still present. And one larger flat slab lies next to it.The mound itself is no longer present.It was investigated in 60,s revealing cremation remains and grave goods. And an urn.
