I'm an independent journalist that's been covering the WNBA and the Seattle Storm since 2015. I want to be your #1 choice for Seattle Storm coverage.
From the official Dallas Wings’ account. That makes 5 openings now in the #WNBA between Toronto, Portland, Seattle, New York, and now Dallas.

Dominique Malonga made the #WNBA All-Rookie team! Her strong second-half performance likely swung votes her way. She became the youngest player in WNBA History to have multiple 20/10 games.

The Seattle Mariners have the Etsy Witch, so we needed something to break the Storm’s home curse. #WNBA

Dominique Malonga is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Chicago Sky.

If you're voting for #WNBA All-Rookie team and 6th Player of the Year, don't forget about Dominique Malonga.

The Seattle Storm are now considered an "easy opponent" in Tankathon's Strength of Schedule calculations. 😭

Seattle Storm Rookie Dominique Malonga is averaging 14.4 PPG and 7.8 RPG in the month of August. During that time, she is averaging less than 23 MPG. #WNBA

So this happened. The Storm have traded Alysha Clark, Zia Cooke, and a 2026 first-round pick for Brittney Sykes. #WNBA

I feel the Seattle Storm's front office has made a few mistakes along the way. But you also have to credit them for getting as much as they did for Jewell Loyd. I wrote about that in last night's article. #WNBA stormchaserswnba.substack.com/p/storm-drub...

Watching Skylar Diggins warm up. She has such a high-arcing shot. Look at how high that ball goes. #WNBA

Up is down, left is right. What the hell is going on in the #WNBA tonight? I feel Atlanta and Seattle is the only game that’s playing out (so far) as you’d expect.

Throwback to when we had elite media seats at CPA.

Here are some excerpts from my latest Seattle Storm article after they defeated the New York Liberty to win their 3rd game in a row and for the 6th time in the last 7 games. The Storm are building a contender, and they're going to get better. Sign up as a paid subscriber today! #WNBA

Here's the video clip of Skylar Diggins answering my question about Nneka Ogwumike's greatness being overlooked. Diggins got very emotional when talking about Nneka. #WNBA #NothingButStorm

The Seattle Storm announced that they have re-signed rookie Mackenzie Holmes back to fill their empty roster spot left from the Li Yueru trade. Welcome back!

Caitlin Clark’s body language on this possession is…

Woke up to the news that Li Yueru has been traded. I wrote that a trade may have been in the works as she didn’t see the court in the last game. Seattle gets a reasonable return in Dallas’ 2nd round pick. #WNBA

Katie Lou Samuelson had successful surgery this past Wednesday. We wish Lou a healthy recovery. #WNBA

The Storm have built a more balanced team around Nneka Ogwumike & Skylar Diggins but questions remain. How will the loss of Jewell Loyd impact the team? Will the other guards contribute enough? Can 19-year-old Dominique Malonga have a legit impact in Year 1? Can they win it all?

The LA Sparks were a part of the largest off-season trade that sent Jewell Loyd to Las Vegas and Kelsey Plum to Los Angeles. The Sparks look to build up their young core of Rickea Jackson, Cameron Brink, and the rookies. Plum & Dearica Hamby hope to lead LA back to the playoffs this year. #WNBA

The Phoenix Mercury made a big splash this off-season in the acquisitions of Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally. It’s a new era down in the desert after Diana Taurasi retired and BG signed with Atlanta. The Mercury have high-end talent but do they have enough quality depth? #WNBA

The Indiana Fever enter the 2025 #WNBA season with a lot of hype. They were one of the hottest teams to end last year. They’ve added championship veterans in DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard. They should compete for a Top 4 seed and then we’ll see what they can do in the playoffs.

The Minnesota Lynx look to run it back for another chance at their record-breaking 5th #WNBA Championship. Napheesa Collier has established herself as one of the game’s most elite players. Can her supporting cast play as impressively as they did last season or was it a fluke?
