True that. My point is that managing product development one must juggle in five-dimensional space - scope, time, budget, quality and everyone's (including one's self) engagement level / emotional debt.

Well that perspective clouds the human factor. Probably precisely the reason so rarely project and product managers consider this to be the reason their products are not creative and innovative enough. Can't get quality products without engagement. Can't get creativity and innovation without fun.

Note there is a fifth apex of this "triangle" no one is really talking about - engagement. Or morale. Or burn down. Or emotional debt as I call it.
