Romantasy and slow burn hockey romances. Yes, I do have a WIP. It's about lovers to enemies dragon riders on ice. It's tentatively called "A penalty of ice and fire". Lmk if you want more.

i have been pondering this for days. He has it. His son has it. King Sorrow was deeply problematic and I blew through all 900 (!?) pages in a week. Dude. How.

Re docsleep movie: I've been a Flannagan fan since Midnight Mass. So...if people say it's good, I'm inclined to believe them.

Agreed.

I had vague dreams of creating a communal imprint based less on genre and more on a commitment to literary style but eh.

I won't go near those bundles with my stuff. Arrogance. Pride. Something. I just don't want to "compete" with books written to do something... biologically specific.

So we found this hella dodgy Chinatown dvd/bluray shop this weekend and I finally had a $10 reason to pick up both The Shining and the apparently very good Doctor Sleep. For reference, most blurays here are 20 bucks.

I'm sure the books are better but I have more important things to read. ^_^

On phone and too lazy to crop/copy text/etc.

Just look at Kegs' nametag.

I remain ignorant as to the concrete differences between the sorts of early readers but...I think I prefer alpha/beta to ARC re room for feedback. So uh, sure. I'll give it a look, since I am mildly familiar with the larger body of work and so far have had no trouble enjoying it.
