The other miserable bastard is played by Ash from @wizardsrespite.bsky.social who, by episode's end, may be connected to my character in unforeseen ways?

Hey man, had to get back to this thread. Absolutely loved Captain Blood. It was a fantastic book.
I will definitely be reading more books from Sabatini.

I very much appreciate the recommendation.

Just read the synopsis...

Bro, bro, BRO!

This is 100% exactly what I want to read right now. Good looking out, my man!

I appreciate the tip. I was actually just looking for my next read.

I drive a lot from my 9:00 to 5:00, and consume a huge amount of audiobooks. Kind of the only thing that keeps me sane while on the road that much.

I'm going to be checking out Captain's blood next.

...Back in the the 1700s - 1800s.

The pacing was so different, but I really liked it.

I really love it. I actually think that I'm going to pick up more. Alexander Dumas because of how much I enjoyed the Three Musketeers.

It had been a while since I've read a novel this old.

I could tell that it was one of those serialized releases, which was more common

That's actually a really funny spin and could make for some solid RP.
