in my mind i feel like... i think of it as like. setting boundaries with myself on what i look at isnt weak, its just saying i dont need to get riled up by the opinions of strangers
even when these topics are important to me, i can talk about it more productively to friends/trusted company..

genuinely im glad i could provide some clarity, ive struggled with this kinda stuff for So Long and it only really started getting better after i got good at blocking/muting people/keywords.. even then sometimes i get in over my head

don't get me wrong it's very thrilling but to responsibly get to the fun part you have to go through a lot of random bullshit

CNC is like 20% sex and 40% negotiation and 30% second-guessing yourself but also no one's said the safe word yet so you just have to assume you're doing well? and then 10% more negotiation but the negotiation is also the aftercare and whoever's subbing goes "i wish you wouldve called me more slurs"

you gotta do so much negotiation and shit or else you have to be so close with someone that you just already know exactly what they want out of the arrangement and even then halfway through you end up going "oh god what if i'm doing bad and they're not pretending that they hate it"

i have a super strong aversion to tickling because i used to get tickled without my consent being respected... but honestly i find it very cathartic to see tickling art. gives me room to process that kind of lack of power/control without actually having to endure it all over again :P

it's all very strange to me- like, even if someone Loves being the aggressor in those situations, if you're doing it as CNC/fantasy, then that's a serious level of trust, & often you are expected to continue even you're being given something that's normally a stop signal! that's pretty intense, man
