This is from a 1985 knitting pattern book called Knit Wits, by George Hostler and Gyles Brandreth. The pattern is called Sax Appeal, because of course it is. Every pattern is modeled by an 80s British celebrity (mostly TV). It’s fantastic and on my book wishlist.
