I was amazed to see my winter savory plant blooming. I never have, and I love it. Winter savory smells almost the same as summer savory. But summer savory is an annual, and winter savory is a tough perennial that thrives despite neglect. It tastes like Thyme but is stronger. Magically.... #WitchSky

Everynight the crows head downtown to roost. They are pausing for a persimmon snack before flying on. As a witch I observe local animals a lot. I like to see what they do in the limninal times of dawn and dusk.

Guardian trees are so amazing. They magically anchor the neighborhood and are a gathering point for local wildlife. I've been watching this one slowly get ready for winter, and now it has the full range of green leaves, yellows, and bare branches with just brown wisps. #WitchSky

Just got back from my forest walk with a good friend. Just as we started down the trail, there was this lovely guardian tree with perfect places to leave an offering of a little water as appreciation and for permission to walk the magical side of the trail. #WitchyWalks #WitchSky

Mr. Kitten waits patiently in a cozy, warm spot for me to finish my morning tea and start my day, which of course includes his breakfast, morning playtime, and opening the door to the backroom where he can watch the birds, falling leaves, and squirrels. #WitchSky

Often, after I take photos for my video, I go ahead and finish the spell to use myself. Sometimes with a few variations. These are my monthly winter candles. Rosemary for protection, oak leaves for abundance, and a lit beeswax candle for warmth.

A friend of mine always lights a bonfire every Friday and then names a group who he is supporting with the fire. Today I'll light a candle for those who are in fear of ICE. And donate some money to an immigrant support group. #WitchSky

I went out for a #witchywalk during a brief pause in the rain. This has been such a good year for autumn leaf color. I use the leaves for color magic, composting spells and on my altar during the Autumn full moon to for seasonal energy and to represnt a change from waxing to waning energy.
