Yeah, it's quite odd but I can tell my tablet is still in good condition. Maybe it's just how they built the cable? I noticed that the newer Artist 12 has a different revision and built from the older Artist 12.

It seems to be the cable since it was the cable bubbled up and the tablet was fine even with other powered wires.

I think it's more of the cable's design. Mostly because my tablet survived and still working. Swapping out the USB cable doesn't cause the burn. In fact, the burn is coming from *within* the cable's plug.

Type C to HDMI, USB and power altogether. They are one single cable.

My current one is a 1st-Gen Artist 12 Pro which is there was a second revision, the succeeded by 2nd-Gen Artist 12 and now 3rd-Gen.
