If there's only one sunny day for Easter Bank Holiday, then you gotta go out and grab it. Lancaut Nature Reserve, close to where the Wye meets the Severn. Looks idyllic, but the mud by the river was horribly slippery.

I bought this for £10 in a junkshop. Now I've polished it, I can see that it's got letters on - possibly Arabic? Can anyone translate them?

This is actually a chatty little book, full of good suggestions and proposals. There's a very broad definition of 'art' (including haircuts). The Big Idea is that art gives us a space to dream and play, and this is valuable. The pix are fun. #creativewriting #BookSky #writingcommunity

Decades ago, I heard about Jonathan Miller's 1966 film of Alice in Wonderland. At that time, a video of it cost over £80, so I never got to see it. But now - it's quietly turned up on BBC IPlayer. It's in the Films section, but you have to access the full (not the 'featured') list: the A-Z list.
