I'll be contributing to this event. So, if you're in London on 20 June, or you know anyone who might be...

I'm posting this as it's relevant to something I'm writing. But Leonardo didn't really look like this, and neither did Mona. Still, a neat bit of photo-shoppery.

And your language is an odd mixture of Old German and medieval French, with a smidge of Greek, Latin, Hindi and Arabic.

If there's only one sunny day for Easter Bank Holiday, then you gotta go out and grab it. Lancaut Nature Reserve, close to where the Wye meets the Severn. Looks idyllic, but the mud by the river was horribly slippery.

Really odd sunset yesterday. Maybe it's a sign?

How did that happen? Spring has sprung when I wasn't looking.

I bought this for £10 in a junkshop. Now I've polished it, I can see that it's got letters on - possibly Arabic? Can anyone translate them?

This is actually a chatty little book, full of good suggestions and proposals. There's a very broad definition of 'art' (including haircuts). The Big Idea is that art gives us a space to dream and play, and this is valuable. The pix are fun. #creativewriting #BookSky #writingcommunity

Snow is Abergavenny. Good to see someone still makes snowmen. And one shot of neo-Siberian tundra - in reality, the snow lasted all of 8 hours.

Decades ago, I heard about Jonathan Miller's 1966 film of Alice in Wonderland. At that time, a video of it cost over £80, so I never got to see it. But now - it's quietly turned up on BBC IPlayer. It's in the Films section, but you have to access the full (not the 'featured') list: the A-Z list.

Abergavenny with a whisp of snow a week ago. It's almost been flooded since then!
