If you're feeling sad about Charlie Kirk being shot, just do what he did after Parkland and rephrase it as an "unfortunate but acceptable cost of preserving Second Amendment rights" and compare them to car accidents.

I feel like this shouldn't be a hot take but it 100% is apparently: Good Will Hunting is a cringe movie that has not held up well at all. The screenplay is bad and not even two of the greats like Stellan Skarsgård and Robin Williams can salvage that trainwreck.

The biggest difference between the Star Trek and Star Wars universe is the vastness of space and spatial sprawl. Star Wars feels like it's set in "a galaxy far far away" only because the text told you so.... The audience sees like 5 planets that matter. Star Trek is endless exploration & wonder.

I think there's a grave need for IT spaces like bike shops. So much that's wrong with tech has been rooted in displacement of administration of services into large corporations and closed ecosystems. Facebook is big not because it's good but because websites and email are so hard.

I just fixed the email servers for my small nonprofit choir. Sometimes computering can be nice when you're helping peeps. Idk how normal people are supposed to fix mx records and shit, like these people are musicians?? No idea how small orgs manage domains without 1 person knowing wtf is going on

I completely get why elderly people feel disoriented about adult ages. I think 35 in 2025 is a very different age presentation than 35 in 1970. I presume it has to do with smoking or maybe just food & healthcare access. Folks in my choir just perpetually ask me how university is going.

I don't think it's possible to have an Australian werewolf romance book as the ambiguous usage of Mate would inevitably backfire. They also have no wolves in Australia. I feel like a hunky alpha dingo just doesn't hit the same.
