I thought a photo album (4”x6”) would be a perfect way to keep my @mellyknits.bsky.social locks that came with her batts (and now my own hand-processed batts as well). I just tested it out and it IS perfect! I’m so excited I can keep a history of my spinning journey in one place.

🧵 I couldn’t sleep so I spun the remaining 2 oz of this batt this morning before the sun rose. I’m planning on doing the traditional 2-ply. I absolutely enjoyed all the texture in this batt and excited to see how it plies up. (4/n)

I don’t remember anything about this breed except that it’s endearingly called Mega Mutt; @royalbb.bsky.social do you remember? I acquired 1 lb from Nellie some time ago after having trouble scouring my lanolin-heavy merino & felt like I needed an easier-to-work-with fleece (2/n)
