Otherwise, you are right that the tactics of normal legislative politics are ineffective with a government that doesn’t respect the rule of law. But, rather than listening to experts like Timothy Snyder on ways opposition politicians can fight authoritarianism, Chuck is going for bipartisanship.

Sorry, my bad. He’s just never called Trump’s ongoing usurpation of the legislature a constitutional crisis. He’s taken different positions re: what level of court Trump would have to defy for it to be a constitutional crisis. Great leadership speaking truth to power!

Denying there is a Constitutional crisis and that Trump has usurped legislative powers, in violation of the constitution that Chuck swore to uphold, is an abdication of his responsibility. Amazing, also, only the GOP somehow has much more expansive legislative tools in minority than Dems ever do…

As a college girl when that movie came out, everyone I knew thought that was creepy. Sketchy joke was men could date half their age+7. Didn’t make the cut. Maybe Hanania as a 14 yo took it as an instructional guide? Or he forgets that everyone who discussed sex with him at the time was a teen boy.
