what i did was made a list of everything i wanted to work before switching, dual boot and test and validate everything on the list, and then when i was able to get everything with no compromises i switched.

i did it over like, several months to made sure i didn't miss anything.

arch! only thing that makes sense for non-professional linux. you can do Everything on it, tons of stuff is geared for it, and it has the biggest community of (queer) folks willing to help out.

also has a pretty easy installer now!
