Congratulations to Lando Norris for becoming a world champion! Having followed his career since 2016, it honestly feels surreal to see him celebrating a WDC, but you can't say he doesn't deserve it. What an incredible season this has been!

Todays featured car is the second generation Volkswagen Scirocco, specifically this 'Scala' version from 1991. Painted in a coat of clean white, the dazzling wheel rims make her look as brand new as the day she rolled off the showroom floor. The owner has done a good job with this one!

The second Mini race was won by Leo Purches, in just about the most dramatic circumstances possible! Going onto the last lap, Leo was in P4 having started 6th. But as he was making a move for third on Smith there was a small clash between the leaders and suddenly it was all change at the front!

One of the most impressive talents we witnessed at Snetterton was a lady by the name of Ashley Gregory, who was consistently found up at the front of the Mini races and scored a couple of podiums too. I also think her car was absolutely stunning, with its bright pink wheels and sleek blue body.

The lead car in this shot is an Austin Metropolitan, although you'd be forgiven for knowing it by other names too!

Designed by American company Nash, the Metropolitan was actually built in the UK, by Austin of course. It has also been known as the Hudson Metropolitan, after Nash merged with Hudson.

Here's Gabe Fairbrother on his way to the pole position grid box for the VERTU Mini Challenge race at Snetterton. Behind him you can see Josh Wilby, foreshadowing his eventual overtake for the win.

The haunting remains of Brooklands - the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit. It was opened nearly 120 years ago, and closed down due to WWII. Nowadays it's the site of the Brooklands Museum and Mercedes-Benz world, where you can still see part of the original banking.

I love this tasteful picture of Charlie Barre's #37 Mini, beautifully framed as it passes a yellow flag at Palmer. The close-up dandelions and the distant fog really come together to give this picture layers, and I think Snowi did a great job with this one!

Looks like Snowi managed to catch some shots of that move for the lead! As you can see, Wilby comes into the corner behind Fairbrother before catching him by surprise and launching to the inside. A race-winning overtake!

All of this Mini posting has got us reminiscing of the time we went to the Felixstowe classic car run, back in May. As you would expect, there were Minis galore! Here's a beautiful rally-inspired example complete with racing numbers.

It's always worth getting to a racetrack as early in the morning as possible. It means you miss none of the action, and you also get to see exclusive sights like a whole field of Minis forming up in the paddock!

Josh Wilby got off to the best possible start in the 2025 Vertu MINI Challenge.

After starting second to Gabe Fairbrother, Josh dived through on the opening lap (Right where we were standing!) and took the lead. He then survived a red flag restart, eventually winning by just over two seconds.

Back at the start of the year, we visited Snetterton for the first time ever! We found the track to be remarkably good for spectating and photography, with some great action spots such as the last corner complex, shown here.
