I wrote this mainly as a pep-talk for myself, and to counter my disappointment in the Democrats who are not meeting this moment.
## WTF Dems We believe in LGBTQ+ rights and DEI. We believe in science, vaccines, and not dying of cancer. We believe in the Constitution and the rule of law—not whatever unhinged version Republicans are trying to scribble in crayon. We believe in Social Security and the social safety net because people shouldn’t have to launch a fucking GoFundMe to survive. We know that tariffs are fucking stupid. We hate that our kids have to practice active shooter drills instead of just practicing for a spelling bee. Billionaires should pay more taxes—full stop. It is *absolutely* mind-blowing that this still needs saying, but: **Nazis. Are. Bad.** And by the way? The economy does better under Democrats—because actual leadership beats whatever grift-fueled dumpster fire the GOP keeps setting. We believe in fighting for what’s right, but our so-called representatives are too busy “reaching across the aisle” to shake hands with fascists. Meanwhile, Donald Trump, unelected co-president Musk, and the complicit Republican Party are actively wrecking the government and this country, and we refuse to sit back and let it happen. This is not the time to fundraise. This is the time to fight back. Let's go.

Most of the time, they still look like formless blobs, but today's pour turned out ok.

New keyboard day - a Dygma Raise 2. My first tented keyboard.

Perhaps sensing the egg shortage, our chickens have started to ramp up egg production a little earlier than normal after their winter break.

Final verdict: Makes great eggs, absolutely destroys your steam wand. Would I do it again? Probably not. Am I glad I tried it? Absolutely. Sometimes you gotta embrace the chaos.

I deep fry a turkey every Thanksgiving. It's everything you want in a turkey: juicy meat, crispy skin, a touch of danger. Also, hypodermic needles! Here I'm injecting it with marinade tonight.
