like, at least ffxiv isn't as trigger happy as nintendo and disney. i get that it's annoying/can be disheartening, but "don't talk abt this dubiously legal thing in front of the hypothetical cops" has always been, like. the status quo. surely y'all have pirated before, this is nothing new

i'm also crossing my fingers for some meaningful updates to tural's side of things before the transition to setting up the next expansion really starts up but 😔 also gonna temper my expectations there. but that tiny bit in 7.1 being the definitive end point for it would be really sad

aside from that i'm not wild abt the reveal at the end, but i'm willing to let them cook and see where it goes. bc unlike certain parts of this fandom i'm not about disowning the whole thing just bc i don't jive with a few story choices (staring directly at the annoying-ass doom posters)

if/when i get a chance to have a variant of nihyo'li that isn't the wol and also isn't the "npc" version of him i'd much rather do it with a friend. better fits the spirit of, like, actually roleplaying and developing your own characters that way imo

but i also 100% get when people are wholly disinterested in him LMAO. it's not like he has the FE Lord/PC excuse of usually having something of a personality despite being the designated self insert

and with that in mind, yeah. in terms of my own things he'd never be THE wol, that's just not as fun

so anyway i spent 1.2 mil gil on a pair of sunglasses just for the sake of a single glam (for now) ♥ i'm not grinding that crafting thing out unless i decide to level something up through it, lmao

at least fate grinds are brainless and fun (to me)
