tech companies & executives are not scared enough of the consequences of harming people. they know they're ultimately very insulated from the blowback for wildly reckless experiments on people; that makes for a very unhealthy environment that we need to fix now

Then the last thing, it is possible to dual boot from a thumb drive. So it would be relatively easy to try Ubuntu and presentation software before going all the way on a full install.

I also just searched up "ubuntu presentation software" and there's a bunch of linux options. I'd explore to see if there's one that opens keynote. And if there are special functions in keynote that might make migration to a new format challenging, I'd explore that.
