Carver Vail in Denver! He was like “this dumb song (Dirt Man) is the one song everyone seems to know me for” lol. My friend is a big fan of his actual music and I’m also now a fan.

It was a great show and these guys have a lot of energy.

“Alaska Equinox”. My third summer in Alaska. I love spending the summers here, where the temperatures rarely break 70 degrees and there’s usually some form of rain.

Equinox the Gryphon likes it too!

Ink and color ink washes on hot-press watercolor paper, 8X10 inches.

"Seaseeker" and "Magpie Gold". Each of these are ink and color ink washes! The ink I use is archival acrylic ink, so the colors are lightfast and will remain brilliant. These are 5X7 inches (the eagle's wingtips stick out a bit).

Two block prints inspired by some very wonderful Alaska seabirds! I'm working in Seward, AK again as a deckhand and see these birds nearly every day.

Each is 5X7 inches. The one on the left is a Horned Puffin and the on the right is a Tufted Puffin.

Here are all the block prints I currently have! These were carved from linoleum and each individually inked and pulled on rice paper. All are 9X12 except the phoenix, which is 5X7.

Got an itch to do more linocut block printing! What's more glorious than an osprey catching fish?
