Oh I’m so jealous. He’s absolutely underrated. I had his greatest hits on repeat as a student in the mid 80s and was roundly mocked.

And as for Starmer being tetchy - he was being interviewed by Rigby who will not let anyone speak so he had to talk over her. Even when she’s not directly cutting in she constantly mutters. Not defending him per se - she does it to everyone and it’s dreadful and he clearly wasn’t having any of it.

Lewis is usually ok. Jon is…well, I prefer it when it’s just the other two. What grated as well was their mention of the fall in net migration which seemed to be posited as a good thing, with no mention of the 7bn loss in tax which has been widely discussed today. It wasn’t their best episode.

Thought she answered pretty well and I’m not usually a fan. Didn’t like the tone of the interview at all but she handled it well and made her points clearly.

Yes, I realised pretty quickly that cog could mean different things depending on when, specifically, you were looking.

I wish I'd been following you when I'd written my first book. Spent hours trying to work out the difference between a cog and a carvel. So much information out there and so much of it contradictory.
