So how much play are you supposed to get out of this introductory module?

8-12 hours

wait...

10-12 hours? (does math) 9 - 16?

Plan for 3-4 hour sessions but also maybe marathon it

Also 1-2 hours per part so maybe 10-20 hours?

At 20 hours like 8 minutes per page, 8 hours it's 3-4 minutes

Seriously Part One starts 3 pages after he says it ends, and Part Nine doesn't start until 30 pages later, the quoted page is actually in the middle of Part Five.

So yeah, you will need to make your own reference sheets but not for the reasons he thinks.
November 29, 2025 at 10:13 PM
Your fore-mentione preparation is basically you have to do an intense cramming session to make your own reference sheets, cheat sheets etc because fuck doing that for the paying customers am I right?

Before you ask, no these page numbers do not sync up at all.

Remember the adventure with the whole section that is a shady rip of the original release of Ice Cube's Bop Gun (One Nation) featuring George Clinton is in fact strictly about indigenous american culture and avoid stereotypes or disrespect.

Strangely for a man who insists on using generative AI for his art, music, videos, etc it seems that he refuses to even enable spellcheck.
November 29, 2025 at 10:13 PM
But aside from that, how does it look?

Well based on the sample—terrible. But by now, you guess so let's go over a sampler of what this masterpiece that was in production for years past its deadline has to offer.

First, check out these fonts and font sizes @brainclouds.net

Naturally, Dinehart's pseudo-blackface AI-generated House Music project is included in the modum and seems, in fact to be the build up to the climax of the module (it has 9 parts).

Kinda looks to me like he was trying to file the serial numbers off Bop Gun (1993) by Ice Cube (feat George Clinton).

GiantLands, the game that marketed itself on being hand made by master craftsmen is back baby!

By back, I mean Dinehart finally released the long overdue, overpriced module on Amazon print-on-demand.

There may be some quality issues...

The sourch for this is the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum page, which explains this was a thing that happened in 1919, but among many, many other events - such as the birth of Anne Frank.

It also does this really vile thing where it will use footnotes as evidence, but review of the footnote shows they've taken massive liberties with the context and significance.

For example, they claim that the "Stab-In-The-Back" theory was a major driver for perceiving jews as military threat.

Aside from the fact its weird there's a section for "Scientific and intellectual contributions" it's even weirder to have a paragraph about IQ tests under "contributions".

But "Grok" really wants it to stay in there.

You just died, the sixth picture in your camera roll is what killed you.

What is Kraliçe planning?

So I went to Grokipedia to see if it had been contaminated by the "Elon Musk is better than ..." bug.

It's widely known it doesn't have the full contents of Wikipedia and is adding pages... but uh... not super comfortable with these being promoted as "new pages"

It's pretty wild how Microsoft is funding OpenAI, and between them they want to make like 2 dozen new nuclear power plants just to run their AI slop... but Windows wants me to use my monitor as little as possible to save the planet.

Starting to think maybe this guy wasn't the sort of person who should have been given a gun and authority, and that if this is the best you can get maybe you should disestablish your whole department.

Firstly, good - fuck that guy, he was a prick of a DM.

Secondly, D&D at home isn't a competitive sport, there's no money riding on rankings - if your players are not having fun and are getting frustrated you should absolutely help them out and/let them skip the puzzle etc.

The Discord for Paizo's ORC License is pretty much officially dead at this point, with occasional appearances by spam bots that get cleaned up intermitanently.

I feel very confident in my early assessment it was never about helping the TTRPG community, just riding the OGL nonsense for clout.

Aw yeah, delivery of new books arrived.

Hence why you end up with nonsense where kids who haven't even finished school are being pitched as 10x engineers by other kids who talk amost entirely in slogans and only finished their bachelor degree last year (and can't hold down a job).
