Finishing up in Baltimore what’s been a long, professionally and personally sustaining ten day roadtrip across the Mid-Atlantic with my HBCU Radio Preservation Project comrades. Reading Ashley Howard’s fantastic book, Midwest Unrest, with a cup of coffee each morning has been a joy. Ready for home.

To reconstitute a neoliberal order that has us caught “between diversity and despotism” is the goal. I love @arunkundnani.bsky.social’s framing of racism’s complementary modes. Solutions lie in anti-colonial Black and Brown theorizations, liberatory voices repressed and co-opted within these poles.
