Crazy that DWP modelling says this while rounding to the nearest 50,000. Surely can’t be the most precise figures that can be achieved…

I’d be surprised if we didn’t see a further decline in GP partner earnings when the new employer’s NI changes come into force. They will overwhelmingly be the ones that shoulder the burden in order for practices to stay afloat.
Looking at 2022/23 GP pay data

GP partner earnings fell back to 2018/19 levels following a couple of elevated years mostly due to Covid vaccine income

Salaried GPs are flat compared to 2019/20

Partners are -19.3% and salaried GPs -17.9% in real terms compared to 2006/07

Yet 20% more appts done

And I’m sure this will get so much worse during a Trump presidency.
Just incredible that the United Kingdom did *this* to itself.
