Every time new Marathon stuff is shown, the gulf between my love for its sauce-dripping aesthetic and my distaste for extraction shooters grows. I’m so disappointed that there won’t be a way to just experience that world without the risk of another player blowing your head off

After having a nightmare reevaluating my Tyranid paint scheme, I’ve finally finished my first unit of termagants from the Leviathan box (yes, I’ve had these for almost three years and have only just painted them 💀). Hopefully I can do the next 10 before 11th edition!

I convinced Oscar to play Highguard and he was very good at possessing the Shieldbreaker
Highguard has some great, tense conflicts... eventually.
I love Highguard's 2Fort-style sieges – when they actually happen
Highguard can deliver some excellent firefights, but each match half-heartedly has to trot you through too many phases to get to them

Very funny to me that Helldivers announces the Siege Breakers Warbond featuring a big hammer the day after GW announces an Iron Warriors upgrade sprue also featuring a big hammer. I don't normally care for crossovers but I really hope Helldivers gets a 40K Warbond at some point

Just realised this time last year I was recovering from giving myself food poisoning and it's (probably) all Indiana Jones' fault
I had a great time cooking some of the collectible recipes in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and wrote about how it went. Really happy with how this one turned out!
