Well, if you read the article, it does state that they are both separated. And, she definitely admits it was a mistake. But, does a mistake like that warrant death threats? Losing your job? Public harassment? None of us are perfect!

This is a really great article. No one should suffer such severe consequences for a small mistake. It's a good reminder that there are real humans behind viral memes!

This must be so hard for the majority of CDC employees who believe in evidence based medicine, like, you know, vaccination. Thank you for hanging in there! I feel reassured by your posts that even if the leadership has gone nuts, there are still employees doing good work!
