The model is beautiful, that the escape pod detached so cleanly is a tribute to the model team at FFG. As a game component it also contained all the heroes from the movie in such a fun way, it was so much fun to play with as well.

Yeah if you're gonna play on your kitchen table you can do whatever :) later expansions became a little overpowered and unweildy. Especially due to the min-max culture of the tournament space.

Nice! A banger of a tabletop game. 2.0 is great as a streamlined update of the rules but it is really only recommended if you're deep into 1.0s expansions as each new ship added new mechanics or exceptions. If you're just sticking with the core set you don't need 2.0
