Have just spent a while asking for a monitor driver to be installed as the icons on the task bar are fuzzy.
Just looked at them and moved my head down and realised that it's my varifocals.....
I'll quietly close the support ticket myself.

I've been saying at work for years that when it doesn't make sense there's an agenda you're not being told.
The world news makes little to no sense at the moment, the motives are totally unclear.

Today I have been told that if you mark a time reporting week as no hours but you earlier put hours in place then it creates a conflict. I wouldn't mind but it's apparently not a cheap system. My A level computing teacher would have taken a very dim view of a system missing such basic logic in 1993

Not that I'm stewing, but this so called health check, apparently I have the heart of a 55 year old. Yet I ran Florence Marathon in 3:42 this year and Brighton marathon in 3:29 as a 50 year old. Makes me wonder what everyone else gets told at these checks.

Was just thinking, there used to be National Rail Enquiries via voice recognition in the early days where we had mobiles but before online data. I can't imagine how it was programmed but it was just as good and probably better than the plausible drivel that Ai serves up.

5am - water starts again
6am - south east water deliver pallets of bottled water for the elderly
7am - realise that two loos are leaking so turn my own water off
7:30am - Parish Council dash round with said water
9:15am - In Screwfix buying water inlet valves
10am - Fitted water inlet valves

The village and surrounding area has no water. I'll be booking swimming at the local leisure centre just to have a shower if the water doesn't come back on.
