While I don't entirely blame Cena, despite his Super Cena era that I couldn't stand. It was the 3 hour raws which featured 90% garbage like Korporate Kane, the PG nonsense, continued focus on HHH (though i occasionally say best for business), terrible stories, and part time wrestlers.

Though I feel, Cena is the last of his kind in WWE, despite the Romans and Cody that came after.
That may be due to now WWE has competition from a solid #2 company, which Cena never had to go through.

Yea Cena, rightfully or wrongly, was chosen to lead WWE in the aftermath of WWEs most popular and peak period.
Sure the Ruthless Aggression ERA had imo the best Cena moments but I think once it entered the PG era is when most of those younger now adult fans were tired of Cena babyface shit

Ah yea the good ole days of Toonami is what introduced me to Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop etc.
It was daily viewing from junior hs through early adulthood. I have lifelong friends that I met who had similar interests in these shows and exposed me to a wider variety of anime
