A man of limited talents. 😂
Had enough of X and the person I'd become on there. Hoping to be calmer and less sweary on here. Newport County, Wales, politics, health, sport, music. Willing to pontificate on anything. More intolerant as I age. Ex-Nurse.
'Pretty much' are redundant in that sentence

I recognise the process at work here. It's a wrong process because it's a generalisation.

Take a step back. Understand your enemy. Israel has committed a genocide in Gaza. People are angry. Some people chant terrible things. The vast majority of people don't blame Jewish people for the actions of the Israeli government, but there will always be some that do. I'm not your enemy.

Well using the comparison with how Germans may have been judged post WW2, which may have been 'Nazis bad, so anti-German ok' perhaps it's understandable. I'm not condoning it, just saying how on a basic level the link could be made.

Whether you like it or not Jewish people are going to be judged by some people by the actions of the Jewish state. I'm sure not all German people during the Nazi era were bad, but no doubt suffered scrutiny and abuse from the evils carried out by that regime. It's not right, but is understandable.

That does surprise me. COVID taught me, that as a Nurse in Critical Care, my life wasn't important to those making decisions. And the change in government since, with Streeting leading the charge to speed up privatisation, doesn't change that view.

money not being directed in the correct areas and perhaps it needed input in areas that affect health, such as regulations on food additives, public transport, poverty as well as social care provision. It's a sickness service, when we needed health promotion and preventing ill-health 2/2

You could argue that it was from it's inception, in that Nye had to 'fill their (the doctors) mouths with gold'. But once in the doctor's were in they realised they could get far more done than prior to it's inception. But the NHS has been poorly run from it's inception, 1/2

The criteria for qualifying for a COVID booster have changed this winter, so even health staff don't qualify. They probably don't qualify for flu jabs either. So unfortunately it won't just be the vax-deniers at risk of dying - it'll be people worth protecting too...

Announce it just before the Christmas break and it'll be forgotten by the New Year...

It should have happened already. There was enough evidence that parties have been taking roubles for a long time...

The BBC should welcome a writ. Yes they spliced two parts of his speech together, which wasn't sensible, but the words used were his, so it wasn't faked and the message of his speech was exactly what subsequently happened. I'm sure the BBC have lots of footage of Trump inciting violence or hatred.

While they're in Switzerland, can I suggest they both visit Dignitas...

Neither.

County have three strikers and Reindorf who seems neither a striker, nor a winger, who it's rumoured is going back to Cardiff in January. How we ended up with so few striking options should be asked at the fans forum on Wednesday.

When Garner went off I was hoping that Fuchs might do something different. The attack was screaming out for someone with height to act as a target man to stress their defence. Instead he brought on Lloyd. Doing the same isn't working. Do something different...

That's a possibility. I've noticed sometimes they're trailing movie and music reviews on Thursdays when they're in the printed paper on Friday.
