Likewise, I left Canvey Island 30+ years ago, also to Windsor, but still revisit from time to time, agree not the nicest of places now, nostalgic feelings for being part of the islander mentality is the only way I can put it. Something about being made to feel like the underdog to mainland people.

I had great experience by going via the pharmacist, some pharmacies are now able to prescribe for certain conditions, and from my experience a 20 to 30 minute thorough appointment with them was very reassuring and they have access to your full NHS record.
