Scientist interested in science. Used to enjoy building really great models, admiring them for a while and then blowing them up. Still do actually.
WTF are you talking about?

A new record for shortest day, predicted by some media for August 5th, didn't happen but the 50+ yr trend of decline in Length-of-Day (#LOD) continues.

Last month, a year after the event, some media started to report on the July 5th 2024 record set for shortest day in atomic clock history.

Which of the two big false prophets does he really worship?

Mohammed or Marx?

I've searched the OWID url & their src www.gov.uk/government/p... yet can't see disclosed what car occupancy they used to get the gCO2/pkm cited. If they use a standard (1.58) then it should be clarified that a car with 2 passengers is e.g. < bus travel in gCO2/pkm.

These emission conversion factors are for use by UK and international organisations to report on 2022 greenhouse gas emissions.

We don't put children at increased risk of drug interactions (and no, that risk has not be proven to be negligible) because of scheduling difficulties!

I've repeatedly asked the JCVI why it quietly reduced the recommended booster dose of the Moderna jab by 50% but it never replied.

No Prof Pagel- you don't get away with that extremely misleading claim.

PHE was replaced by the UKHSA - to say it was abolished is highly misleading.

Just one simple example of this - parents were advised to make informed decisions on behalf of their children re getting the covid jab YET the useless-by-design Yellow Card System gave no data on age of the subject. Nothing about other drugs or illnesses. Nothing about much, much else.
September 23, 2025 at 8:11 PM
Correction: The MHRA should regulate vaccines - something which it singularly and wilfully failed to do in the case of the covid jabs.
Its Yellow Card system was designed to fail and succeeded in being useless to the general public in making informed decisions about the covid jab.

Seems a valid claim to me but the great unspoken killer of the covid "pandemic" was stress.

Even the least ethical of experiments on the effects of prolonged stress on already compromised immune systems didn't dare inflict the protractedly high levels covid fear porn did.

Not sure but I think Elon Musk is funding a rival party to Reform UK called Advance UK.

I'm not sure what you mean by "anti-vax" as I think you'll find vaccine uptake amongst those who declined the covid pseudovaccine was no lower than amongst those who got it.
Elon Musk publicly backs Ben Habib's Advance UK party and swipes at Nigel Farage
Mr Habib told GB News that he and Mr Musk had been in contact since January before the Tesla boss made the endorsement

You've been caught out using dishonest representation of data.

Playing the victim is the worst way out you could have chosen.

Shame on you - a sad day for science when it falls into the hands of the wrong people.
September 19, 2025 at 9:38 PM
"typical recent months."

Do you listen to what you're posting?

If it isn't satellite data then it's blatant dishonesty to present it as high resolution when the real data coverage should be highly pixelated (and I mean extremely highly).

All this is so typical of climate science. Sad.

I asked for an EXACT URL - meaning not just that for the web site where somewhere you'll (hopefully) find the map created but a URL which takes me directly to it. It would have been nice anyway.
September 19, 2025 at 6:06 PM
So to use a graphic suggesting such high resolution can only be consistent with citing a data source of much higher data density such as .....

Satellite data! (or relying on models to fill in the huge amount of missing data)

Do you get it now???
