I’ve known vets that pay for assistance because the for-profit, private service has a track record for getting a higher rating for the veteran. They helped folks jump from 30% to 80% with tweaks to their application—justification sometimes questionable though

Well said. It would bring down costs by greatly reducing credit card transaction fees, but there is no guarantee that businesses would pass those savings on to consumers by lowering prices. Possible, yes. But, the allure of greater profits for happy shareholders will be tempting.

🤯 It was probably one of those situations where they attempted to upgrade, it massively failed, so they never tried again
