Sry. Somehow I replied to the wrong thread. My post should have be placed here:

You're right about algorithm vs heuristic.
Stop using "algorithm" to mean "social media feed".
November 23, 2025 at 11:36 AM
Disagree. The is no "Social media feed" because it varies from "person to person" because it's served by an algorithm. And these do even vary from platform by platform.

So... does that mean you're well on your way to becoming an American Psycho? ;-)

This microphone trend on TikTok/YouTube is such nonsense. These little things are supposed to be worn over or under your shirt. I think it looks stupid. I think it's great that they're no longer dependent on internal microphones, but this? Nope, I don't get it.

But wouldn't it simply be thrown away by people who, for example, don't want to see such things in the company refrigerator?

I guess the important / expensive part in the initial theses is: "obsessive about technical details" Some people spend crazy money on espressos machines and tools to prepare them:

Good for you. My mother is also happy with her device. It's better for us, too, because we can talk to her at a normal volume again. Only my father thinks he doesn't need one. The fact that he now has the TV so loud that you can literally hear it throughout the house isn't a sign of him ;-)

BTW: And that's common practice for all citrus fruits...

That's why the zest from the peel is used in baking or cooking. It provides the full flavor of the fruit, without any acidity. However, you usually try not to use the white part of the peel, as it's often too bitter.

They never attacked people in life rafts after sinking a boat. The only attack sailboats in a certain range of size.

Jip. The older ones have been teaching the younger ones for a few years. It's unclear whether this is simply "pranks" or if it's meant to teach hunting. Neither it's clear why it's only this species in this area (Orcas vary greatly from region to region).

In the Bay of Biscay, orcas do this with ships. In recent years, they have damaged many vessels and even sunk some.

BTW: I couldn't convince Gemini that there is a missing engine on the left side
September 9, 2025 at 3:49 PM
The extended, downward-angled winglets.
The markings on the tail, which appear to be the kangaroo roundel of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
The C-17 is a large military transport aircraft used by various air forces around the world, including the RAAF.

First thought: It's a Boing, right? Than I asked Gemini what plane it is and got:

Based on the image, the plane is a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III.
I can identify it by these features:
Its size and four-engine design.
The high-wing configuration.
The distinctive T-tail.
September 9, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Agreed. Less efficient, needs to be transported etc.
September 7, 2025 at 11:01 AM
That was my first thought, too. Terrible design. But honestly, it didn't help that the hull wasn't waterproof ;-)

And the real question is: How many did they trigger by lying or setting fires...
