I use the Borrowbox app for audio and e books. You link it to your library card, and can download anything they have a licence for. I sometimes have to wait for a book (limited licence numbers), but it's free.

They are amazing birds, beautifully iridescent. Talented mimics, too. We thought we had oyster catchers nearby, but it was our starlings. I miss the city murmurations, even if they did poo on the cars.
