A new large-scale study from WildPosh's predecessor , the PoshBee project, shows that both pesticide use and habitat loss consistently reduce wild bee abundance and diversity across crops and continents.

Surrounding natural habitats alone cannot offset pesticide impacts.

Hoverflies are important non-bee pollinators. Yet, they remain overlooked in risk assessment when it comes to pesticides.

WildPosh researchers are trying to fill this gap by presenting a new oral toxicity test for Eristalinus aeneus, a widespread hoverfly species.
