My starting villagers are Tad, Tangy, Stella, Chico, Olivia, and Vladimir! I'm overall extremely happy with everyone I got, with maybe Chico being the exception. Why does he look so... sleazy?

Tonight, I've decided to begin playing the original Animal Crossing alongside New Horizons.
I'm curious to see the first installment in the franchise that started it all off. However, I'm using Cuyler's mod so I can enjoy the original essence of the game with modern day quality improvements.

Here are the posed photos. You might have noticed that I ended up having to pull out some custom designs to make this home feel more complete. Being only 3 clients in, I found there to be a serious lack of wall decorations!

This one was even tougher than Melba's! I found the theme very strange to work with. I debated between more of a realistic garden (grassy floors, flowers on the ground), versus something half kidcore, half cottagecore.
I'm glad I settled on the latter. I think it's much more livable.

I am loving meeting all the NPCs one-by-one, slowly!
