I remember the flood of art and animations made for him, and he was happy for all of it, and all the support flooding the tags and in the replies. It was an emotional experience from start to finish. Its very bittersweet: good that he isn't suffering, but (obviously) he passed away

I just take those as sincere well wishes, that they're hoping for the best and giving you encouragement in a way they understand (and likely figure most believe the same). I just stress the medical aspect and medical staff as a redirect while I internally acknowledge the person means well
