I told spouse I was considering driving to the UP for the weekend but I hate the long (7hr) drive. He suggested flying bc he is Lucille Bluth and that it would only be like $100. Gflights returned this gem.

We were promised "heavy rain soon" but it didn't happen so now I gotta figure out if I'm going to be able to make it home before it starts & ppl get weird on the roads.

MN Frost are the Walter Cup Champs again. Well played by both teams, and congrats to PWHL Playoff MVP Gwyneth Philips, who is truly a magnificent goalie.

Every couple of years, I am re-surprised to "discover" that J. Peterman still exists.
I *loved* that catalog when I was a kid, pre-Seinfeld.
I would be very tempted to apply for this job if it weren't in Chanhassen.

It's spring break so this fella is home from university and it's fucken wimdy so our front door blew open (!?) and he got outside onto the deck and then panicked. He's been sticking extra-close to me since then.

A black and white cat. I think the pattern on his head looks like his center-parted black hair has fallen over one eye -- both ears are black, and he has a patch of black on one half of his face covering his left eye. He also has a little black chin and the cutest pink nose.

I know the comparison must have been made before, but he is literally an exponentially worse real-life version of JP from the movie Grandma's Boy.

My online calendar reminded me that today would have been my sweet feline companion's golden birthday (estimated, observed).

My kid rescued another little cat a few weeks ago to try to ease my sadness, and it has helped, but oh, that birthday reminder was like a punch in the gut.
